Parents and guardians, please be aware of your supervision responsibilities for children under your care:
Children under 5 years
Must be within arm’s reach at all times
Must be supervised by a parent/guardian aged 16 years or older, at all times.
Must be accompanied in the water, at all times.
Must be within an arm’s reach, at all times.
Children 5 – 10 years
Must be actively supervised at all times
Must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian aged 16 years or older, at all times.
Supervisor must be aware of the child’s swimming ability and the level of accompaniment required.
Children 11 – 12 years
Visual contact must be maintained at all times
Must be supervised by a parent/guardian aged 16 years or older, at all times.
Supervisor must be aware of the child’s swimming ability and the level of accompaniment required.
Weak swimmers, regardless of age, must always be supervised by a person aged 16 years or older.
Lifeguards may remove unsupervised children or weak swimmers from the water.
Anyone lacking confidence in the water is encouraged to discuss this with staff upon entry to see how we can best meet your needs.
